Assalamualaikum..

Hello everybody. This is the opening for the 'Silent Traveler' blog post. My name is Shariffah Nur Ashikin  and you can call me Shikin for short. Some people may called me as Mia because i had always wanted to become as princess just like Princess Mia in the 'Princess Dairies' movies. i am 25 years old since last 4th August. i am the youngest among 3 daughters of Syed Jaffar bin Syed Abdullah and Shariffah Amina bt Said Ali.

my father work as a taxi driver. previously he served for the country with the Navy of  Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia. well, he gave up his work just to raise us three and be with us as we grow. he always taught us to never give up on our dreams and never look down on others whom is less fortunate.

my mom is a housewife. she is the one whom always provide me with delicious food and always take care of me and prepared my needs. i had always admire my mom,as she so patientlytke care of the family every single day without any complaints or argue.

since born, i stay in Johor Bahru. i was born in Hospital Sultanah Aminah on 4th August 1990. 

i was raised in Larkin, Johor Bahru and received my 1st education at sekola tadika gertak merah, johor bahru. At this kindergarten is where i discovered my talent in dancing. i always particate in dancing in every event that the school held. i even represent the school in dancing for Mother's Day for Johor State at that time.

Sekolah Kebangsaan I.J Convent Johor Bahru

then i started my primary school at Sekolah Kebangsaan I.J Convent Johor Bahru. from primary 1 untill primary 6. i am really shy and all the teachers always told my parents that i am so quiet. however, my shyness does not stop me from participating in activities at the school.

MRSM Pasir Salak, Perak

After my upsr, i continue my study to MRSM Pasir Salak, Perak. It was a new experience for me to be independent at the age of 12 years old. However, i able to adapt myself with the new surrounding and able to be independent on my own. This are a few of the memory there

After that, i was transferred to MRSM situated in Johor region since in form 4 and form 5. I made new friends and some are my friends from Pasir Salak.

Alhamdullillah for the journey for my boarding school since have a broad list of friendship at still remain until today and the experience and value that had learned throughout the journey.

UiTM, Puncak Alam, Selangor.

I was than started my journey to be discovers my interest for the future. I continue to study at Kolej Matrikulasi Tangkak, Johor before i continue with my degree of occupational therapy at UiTM, Puncak Alam, Selangor.

Just after i finished my degree, i was offered to work at LHDN , Johor Bahru.

i have been working for almost 3 years. a new experience for me since i am a health science graduates. however each and every experience that i've gained is a gold that i know that i would not get if i in the health care profession.

 this is my manager. don't be scared with knife, she has a heart of an angel
